I’ve been a supporter of Youth Science Canada since 2010, where I’ve played a role as a corporate funder of the Canada Wide Science Fair. I work with Intact Financial Corporation, Canada’s largest property & casualty insurer, where I am the General Manager of the Intact Foundation and head their social impact organization. My professional background is largely in industry/NGO partnerships, where I help to build the capacity of NGO’s to effectively deliver their mandates by supporting them with communications, fundraising and governance expertise. I would bring these competencies to the role of Director of Youth Science Canada. The work of Youth Science Canada is critical – their programs help to build Canada’s innovation capacity by inspiring students to uncover the power of science to benefit society. I am thrilled at the opportunity to help YSC grow to continue to offer students the platform to engage in science in meaningful ways.
